Here is some basic data for New Zealand species of Russula, together with a preliminary key.
Pat Leonard and I have been working on a revision of New Zealand species of Russula, Lactifluus and Lactarius for a number of years. That work is close to completion and a manuscript describing the new species is in preparation. We are conscious the work has taken much longer than expected, and so we present a trial key here.
