Submitted by Bevan Weir on Fri, 09/12/2011 - 1:00pm

The Ross Beever Memorial Fellowship aims to provide the opportunity for a post-graduate researcher with an outstanding established track record in fungal taxonomy, fungal genetics, plant pathology or botany to work with Landcare Research for up to two years. For this inaugural Fellowship, preference will be given to candidates with research experience in taxonomy of hypogeous fungi and with intent to prepare an inventory of New Zealand species and undertake taxonomic research on a key group, building on Ross's existing research on these fungi. Ross organised the very first fungal foray in 1986 and supported FUNNZ for over 24 years. For more details, or to apply see: http://www.bfound.net/detail.aspx?jobId=101885&CoId=370&rq=5
