  • Symposium: Conservation and Management of Fungi (Thursday 26th and Friday 27th)
  • Debate: Eating wild fungi: fun or foolhardy? (Friday 27th)
  • Workshops and forays: focussing on fungi in the field and their identification, survey and documentation (Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th)
  • Training sessions for fungi tools in the Atlas of Living Australia (Monday 30th)

Further details are in Fungimap newsletter:

I was at tea break outside the government offices at Huonville the other day and saw some unusual fungi.  They may not be unusual to you, but I have never seen them before.  Large as dinner platters, bright red with white spots.

If you are interested in chasing them up and for their exact location, feel free to call me on 0438 028 809.
